Starting a New Enactus Year Together 💛

On September 4, 2026, we set off on a new Enactus year! Newly selected team leaders from over 20 Enactus chapters across Germany gathered for the team leader onboarding session at KPMG in Cologne, and we from Enactus Bochum were there too. 🚀

For us, the day was above all a fantastic opportunity to meet other team leaders, exchange experiences, and gain new insights for our work in Bochum. After all, there is a question that likely accompanies us all into the new year: What does it take to successfully lead a team through an Enactus year and create sustainable impact together?

Alongside valuable input from Enactus Germany, the focus was therefore very much on the exchange of ideas. It quickly became clear that, even though each team has its own location, projects, and dynamics, we often face very similar challenges. This makes learning from one another, sharing ideas, and supporting each other all the more valuable.

The alumni perspective and the transition of team lead spokespersons were also part of the onboarding process. We thank Ida, Johannes, and Julia for their dedication over the past year and are delighted to welcome Thomas, Johanna, and Laura to their new roles. 💛

The exchange continued the following day with regional onboarding sessions. There, we were able to apply the insights from the previous day more concretely to our own teamwork and consider together how to further develop our teams and successfully advance our projects.

For us at Enactus Bochum, we take one key insight away from the weekend: effective teamwork thrives on the exchange of ideas, trust, and a willingness to learn from one another. We look forward to bringing these new ideas back to Bochum and working together with our team toward another successful Enactus year.
