BLINC

We open your eyes by closing them

Hero section image
BLINC is a social startup that helps companies hire more people with low vision and raise awareness for inclusion. Founded in 2018 as part of Enactus Ruhr-Universität Bochum e.V., BLINC offers workshops, seminars, and individual solutions. They provide blind and visually impaired individuals with work experience and raise awareness for accessibility in the business community and society. Through workshops involving blindfolds and discussions on inclusion, BLINC opens new perspectives and contributes to their motto: "WE OPEN YOUR EYES BY CLOSING THEM."

Women and girls represent approximately half of the more than 68 million refugees worldwide. We are establishing a small fashion label with refugee women to help them build a livelihood in Germany. Our first product is easy-to-make and stylish wallets, which we manufacture from water- and tear-resistant Tyvek®, a recyclable plastic.
